We have an exciting opportunity for a Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Sittingbourne. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely up to two days per week.

What you'll be doing:
The Multimedia Designer will play a key role in creating visually compelling and engaging multimedia content that aligns with Knauf UK & Ireland’s brand identity and communication strategies.
This role will support the Brand and Communications Manager in delivering creative solutions across various platforms, including digital, print, and video, to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and internal communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Content Creation:
- Design and produce high-quality multimedia assets, including graphics, animations, videos, and presentations, for use across digital platforms, social media, websites, and print materials
- Responsibility for the collation of content, design and distribution of Staff2Staff (Internal newsletter)
- Develop creative concepts and designs that align with Knauf’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Create engaging video content, including storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production.
Branding and Visual Identity:
- Ensure all multimedia content adheres to Knauf’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and visual identity
- Collaborate with the Brand and Communications Manager to evolve and enhance the visual identity of Knauf UK & Ireland for our key customer target groups.
Digital and Social Media Support:
- Design and optimise digital assets for social media campaigns, email marketing, and website content.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure multimedia content is optimised for various platforms and audiences.
Internal Communications:
- Support internal communication initiatives by creating visually engaging materials, such as newsletters, infographics, and videos.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver creative solutions.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality
- Liaise with external agencies, freelancers, and suppliers when necessary to deliver projects.
Innovation and Trends:
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Knauf’s multimedia content remains innovative and competitive.
- Proactively suggests new ideas and approaches to enhance the effectiveness of multimedia content.
What we'd love for you to have:
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Skilled in creative and graphic design for both offline and online materials, including advertising, brochures, newsletters, and emails
- Proficient in IT, with strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with internal systems.
- Knowledgeable in using the Figma program
- Solid understanding of print and production processes
- Confident in collaborating with and taking direction from other departments
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and effectively follow up with others to ensure timely project delivery
- Exceptional attention to detail in design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong spelling, grammar, and creative writing abilities.
