Project Specification Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Project Specification Manager to join our team in Tallaght, Dublin. The PSM is the technical sales support role within Knauf throughout the island of Ireland (32 counties). The PSM will work proactively & autonomously manage projects of all sizes from concept to completion ensuring design teams and contractors utilise Knauf materials throughout their build.

What you'll be doing:
- You are required to follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others
• You will be the customer facing technical contact to our Category A customers, including Architects, Main Contractors and Sub Contractors. Working with colleagues across the wider organisation to deliver goals and achieve specification in both plasterboard and non-plasterboard systems as necessary.
• You will prepare accurate and appropriate specifications for all systems and products as required by customers.
• You will monitor, track and engage all project pipelines, while sharing Supply chain partner intelligence and your network with other team members.
• You will support Architects and specifiers with development of bespoke detailing based on a defined and recorded rational to minimise and manage the Companies risk appropriately.
• You will manage your working time appropriately to hit the targets and KPI’s through Salesforce CRM and set by your line manager.
• You will develop hand over processes with ASM & TSI team to ensure your specification work can be secured and supported appropriately.
• You will support product launches by educating supply chain & site teams
• You will be seen as an expert in Fire, Acoustic, thermal and Structural fields relevant to our system and product ranges
• You will provide feedback into the innovations process and providing a customer focused view in the development of robust technical solutions.
• You will actively participate and give input to several team and individual projects as requested
• You are required to work in accordance with requirements of your role set out in the IMS/compass, including but not limited to H&S, Quality, Environment and Corporate Responsibility (including Competition and Bribery Acts)
• This role involves occasional travel across the UK and Ireland to attend internal Knauf company meetings.

- Knowledge of construction stakeholders (Architects, Main Contractors and Subcontractors)
