We are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at our Sittingbourne-based Head Office.
Job Purpose
- The ‘Architect and Owner’ for all our digital platforms
- Manage the development and implementation of various digital tools and projects
- Responsible for the creation of our digital marketing strategy and implementation of communications plan, created by the Brand and Communications Manager
- Optimise customer experience to provide inspiration and practical information to current and prospective customers to make the decision to spec/use/purchase Knauf products intuitive
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Ongoing architectural management, update, development and optimisation of the Knauf Drywall UK website, microsites and social media channels
- Contribute to Knauf’s sustainability strategy of People, Planet, Prosperity
- Manage and assess use of digital agencies, where possible to bring services in-house, such as social audits and SEO expertise
- Use of digital analytical tools and services, to identify, monitor and develop current digital performance to optimise traffic and conversion.
- Using web trend evaluation reports, recommend improvement / corrective actions, e.g Hotjar, Semrush
- Creation of new reporting suite to better inform business of digital performance, lead generation and customer insights
- Work with Knauf Digital to be the first point of contact for all marketing digital related tools; manage their development, implementation and optimisation.
- Research and assess new online media opportunities (tools/ automation systems) that may benefit the business with the aim of increasing quality of traffic to our channels and campaigns’ efficiency
- Monitor and research Digital market trends and competitor activity (direct and indirect); keep up to date with latest digital developments
- Email marketing: ownership of customer database, in compliance to GDPR
- Use of PPC and SEO to optimise the site and increase traffic from our key, target audiences
- Ensure the Knauf brand guidelines are applied correctly, and uniformly across our digital presence
- Point of contact within the business for all things digital
- Management of Digital budget
- Management of Digital Apprentice
- Contribute to Knauf’s sustainability strategy of People, Planet, Prosperity
- Anything commensurate to complete your role
Requirements:
- At least 3 years demonstratable digital experience managing websites, and increasing engagement
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Sitecore
- Successful management of websites and social platforms
- Detailed understanding of latest digital marketing techniques including website, mobile, email, and online advertising
- Good knowledge of SEO / PPC
- Ability to guide as well as lead in cross-functional, matrix management teams
- Experience in managing complex projects with tight deadlines
- Good mix of creative and analytical skills
- Good presentation skills, and high attention to detail
